Christmas Tree Hunters

On Christmas Eve of yesteryear, a father drives his Model A Ford home from work, stopping along the country road to forage for a suitable Christmas tree.

A young lad in the company of his companion dog, pulls his sled homeward with a cargo of a freshly cut fir tree.

I created this image using my Wacom tablet, &ArtRage 4.5 with some color correction in Photoshop CC 2015.

The Studebaker President was the premier automobile model manufactured by the Studebaker Corporation of South Bend, Indiana (USA) from 1926-1942. The nameplate was reintroduced in 1955 and used until the end of the 1958 model when the name was retired.
