Christmas Tree Hunters

On Christmas Eve of yesteryear, a father drives his Model A Ford home from work, stopping along the country road to forage for a suitable Christmas tree.

A young lad in the company of his companion dog, pulls his sled homeward with a cargo of a freshly cut fir tree.

I created this image using my Wacom tablet, &ArtRage 4.5 with some color correction in Photoshop CC 2015.

This image is available as a greeting card, wall print, canvas print, poster, throw pillow, etc at Fine Art America

Autumn Colors of Cape Breton

In mid October of this year I took some time off work and packed three of my dslr cameras (Olympus E620, Nikon D3300 and Nikon D7100) and some of my lenses. Dad & I headed towards Cape Breton Island with intention of shooting the fall colours (the locals and Tourism NS refer to it as the Keltic Colors, catching eh?) of this beautiful island in Nova Scotia.

I shot just over 1200 photos during a 4 day stay in Cape Breton.

Here are some of my shots…

Another vehicle created using Groboto, ArtRage & Photoshop.

Retro Red Exotic – An exotic sportscar of the future borrowing some styling from cars of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s.

Grobo-car – My vision of a hot rod of the future powered by a clean energy source and has dual wheels in the rear, making it a 6 wheel vehicle.

A car which has performance and energy efficient. I created the car in Groboto which is a 3D modeling application. I then brought the base render into Artrage 4.5 where I painted over the image and applied a gradient. I used Photoshop for color correction and applied a texture to the background and added some noise to the car.
