Another one of my 3D / 2D digital illustrations….I did this over Christmas, completing in the New Year…
I titled it “The Scolding” or when a Dog’s Gotta Go, It’s Gotta Go!!!
In the tenement living area of a large urban city some where in North America of the 1950s,
a youth is scolding his dog for urinating on a fire hydrant. His female companion looks on in disbelief,
and a local cat hisses displeasure at the incident.

A steam powered airship flies over a distant, future city in dystopian world. I modeled the airship in Hexagon3D & Groboto. The buildings are the dystopian city blocks from Cornucopia3D. Scene was rendered in Vue Complete 2015 using the NPR settings. With details and adjustments made in Photoshop CC 2015 & ArtRage 4.5.

Billy Bishop glances over his shoulder at the plumenting German plane he has just shot down while an approaching German pilot opens fire from above.
William Avery Bishop is credited with 72 victories in the air and was a Victoria Cross recipient of the First World War. He is considered Canada’s top pilot of WWI.
In this illustration I have Bishop flying the French built Nieuport 17 with the top mounted Lewis machine gun. The Royal Flying Corps found the fuselage mounted Vickers guns to be unreliable and often had them omitted. The Vickers machine gun was synchronised to fire through the propeller.
I created this illustration using my computer, Wacom tablet, ArtRage, Corel Painter & Photoshop….
Available as a framed print, canvas print, poster, metal print, greeting card, shower curtain and other formats at Fine Art America

On Christmas Eve of yesteryear, a father drives his Model A Ford home from work, stopping along the country road to forage for a suitable Christmas tree.
A young lad in the company of his companion dog, pulls his sled homeward with a cargo of a freshly cut fir tree.
I created this image using my Wacom tablet, &ArtRage 4.5 with some color correction in Photoshop CC 2015.
This image is available as a greeting card, wall print, canvas print, poster, throw pillow, etc at Fine Art America

Retro Red Exotic – An exotic sportscar of the future borrowing some styling from cars of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s.

Grobo-car – My vision of a hot rod of the future powered by a clean energy source and has dual wheels in the rear, making it a 6 wheel vehicle.
A car which has performance and energy efficient. I created the car in Groboto which is a 3D modeling application. I then brought the base render into Artrage 4.5 where I painted over the image and applied a gradient. I used Photoshop for color correction and applied a texture to the background and added some noise to the car.

Influenced by the comic books and tv scifi shows that entertained me in my childhood… I modelled the rocketship in Groboto (95%) and Wings3D for detail… I painted the background in Artrage Studio Pro 3.5…
The fully textured OBJ model will be available in my free stuff at Renderosity (once approved by mods) and at ShareCG.com

This is a revisit of an earlier Junkyard Rods image. The earlier image was mostly photo manipulation and some 3D elements…This time I completely re-created the image using ArtRage Studio Pro 3.52 for everything except for the “Junkyard Rods” sign on the garage, for which I used Photoshop Elements ver 9.0…
I had a lot of fun doing this in ArtRage…
