Experiment with Black & White

I initially took this photo a few weeks ago while vacationing in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The photo is of the “Boardwalk in Inverness”. I liked the general composition but thought is lacked something… So I converted it to b&w.

Original photo shot as RAW with my Nikon D7100/18-105mm Nikkor lens, processed in Lightroom CC 2015 & Photoshop CC 2015.5

A Stroll in the English Countryside

In Victorian England a couple take a stroll in the English countryside.

All characters where posed in DAZ and exported as objs. The church and horse & carriage are from Google Warehouse, the near trees are free from XFrog, I modelled the road & bridge in Hexagon.

A time when many able bodied people fled the farms and rural country homes to seek employment and prosperity in the urban centers of the USA and Canada… Some found prosperity however most encountered disillusionment…

Drawn digitally by hand using Artrage 4.0 and my trusty Wacom Intuos tablet. Color correction using Photoshop Elements and Topaz Adjust plugin. No 3D was used in this image.
